About

Hi there! I’m Isaac, founder of The CTO Network. I believe that technology should help people, that creating wealth is good, and that fortune favours the bold. This blog is just a collection random scribblings I jotted down when I should have been working on more important stuff.

Brief Bio:

  • Nothing at all interesting happened for the first 18 years of my life. I was a shy kid from North Wales who liked computers.
  • In 2007 I went to China for the first time. In 2009 I made my first website, and met a few interesting people who got me interested in startups and entrepreneurship. Over the last few years I went to many places (favourites: Chengdu, London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Rajhastan, Kuala Lumpur) and did many things, with the vague goal of eventually doing something at the convergence of technology, business and Asia.
  • Around the end of 2011 everything finally clicked, and I decided to be more opportunistic, expansive and focused. Trying more things, meeting more people and wasting less time. Since then I’ve been accepted as a member of the first ever Entrepreneur First cohort, and founded The CTO Network.
